Bajaj Auto and Triumph Motorcycles have officially revealed their latest collaboration, introducing two all-new motorcycles – the Triumph Street 400 and the Street Scrambler 400. These motorcycles, manufactured by Bajaj Auto in India, are set to make their debut in the domestic market on July 5, 2023. Designed to cater to different riding preferences, the Street 400 targets the modern-retro street naked segment, while the Street Scrambler 400 offers a more rugged and adventurous scrambler experience. Both the Triumph Street 400 and the Street Scrambler 400 are equipped with a new 398cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder TR-series engine, complying with Euro 5 emission standards. This potent powerplant delivers an impressive output of 40hp at 8000rpm and 37.5Nm of torque at 6500rpm, positioning the bikes in the same league as KTM’s 390 lineup. With a 6-speed gearbox, riders can expect smooth and engaging gear shifts.  While sharing the same engine, the Street 400 and Street Scrambler 400 showcase distinct design elements and chassis configurations. The bikes feature a hybrid spine/perimeter frame constructed from tubular steel, providing a balance of rigidity and flexibility.

The Street 400 boasts 17-inch alloy wheels with road-focused tires, while the Street Scrambler 400 adopts a larger 19-inch front wheel, a long-travel suspension setup, and possibly a different sub-frame.
