Korea, Samsung Electronics has officially introduced the worldwide release of the Odyssey OLED G9 gaming monitor (G95SC), featuring advanced AI upscaling technology. This latest addition to the lineup follows the achievements of the previous Odyssey OLED G8 (G85SB) model, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter in OLED gaming.
Hoon Chung, the Executive Vice President of the Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, expressed that Samsung met the needs and high standards of gamers, including the most seasoned ones, by introducing the Odyssey OLED G8 last year. He further mentioned that the Odyssey OLED G9, featuring unparalleled picture quality, is an exciting addition to their gaming monitor range, allowing them to elevate the standards for OLED gaming and provide customers with a remarkable gaming experience.
Featuring a generous 49-inch size and a 1800R curvature, the Odyssey OLED G9 leads the way as the first OLED monitor to offer Dual Quad High Definition (DQHD; 5,120 x 1,440) resolution with a 32:9 aspect ratio. Its expansive screen provides users with immersive super-ultrawide vistas, akin to having two QHD screens placed side by side. With a swift 0.03ms Gray-to-Gray (GtG) response time and a 240Hz refresh rate, gamers gain a competitive advantage.
Setting it apart from other OLED gaming monitors is the inclusion of the Neo Quantum Processor Pro. Utilizing an advanced deep learning algorithm, it intelligently analyses images and dynamically adjusts brightness while enhancing contrast.
