Triumph India has revealed plans to introduce the 2023 Street Triple 765 lineup in the Indian market on June 16th. The company will unveil the Street Triple R and Street Triple RS models, with anticipated starting prices of approximately ₹10 lakh and ₹11.50 lakh respectively (ex-showroom). While the Moto2 version will not be available in India, Triumph has already begun accepting bookings for these new motorcycles.
Notably, the company has given a significant overhaul to the Street Triple range, introducing various updates in terms of design, ergonomics, and even the engine. The motorcycles feature new tank shrouds and a robust-looking 15-liter fuel tank. While Triumph has kept the bug-eye shaped LED headlamp, it has made slight revisions to its design. In terms of riding comfort, both the 2023 Street Triple R and RS now come with handlebars that are 12mm wider. Additionally, the RS model has a steeper rake compared to the R variant.
The Street Triple range has undergone changes to its exhaust system, resulting in a more pleasing sound compared to the previous version. However, the new exhaust is now a single-piece unit, which means that owners will not be able to simply attach slip-ons. Instead, they would need to invest in a pricier full-system exhaust.
